Traversing
Traversing
When traversing the passageway from East Clock Town to Astral Observatory or vise-versa, It is recommended to use Deku Link's spin to "bounce" from platform to platform for convenience and ease, followed by sticking to the shallow water in order to by-pass the Skulltula, then hit the "Purple Majora's Mask Balloon" with any projectile or Deku Link's Bubble, check nearby ceramic pots for magic if needed, and climb the ladder to Astral Observatory.

After the balloon is popped, climb the ladder to the Astral Observatory.

North End
North End
The Canal which lead north, from the East Clock Town Entrance, lacks shallow water making Deku Link's access impossible. It is a dead end and only consists of the Silver Rupee barricaded behind a cracked wall. Proceeding further is pointless without the use of Bombs or the Blast Mask. Also notable is that Link swims in this water, making the Skulltula a bit difficult to pass therefore, It is best advised to wait until later and use Zora Link to wade through the water, strike the Skulltula with Zora fins and climb out at the end. Take caution when setting off a bomb at the cracked wall by jumping back into the water as the blast radius may exceed the alcove's size.
