They are completely indestructible, so it's suggested you simply run for your life, unless you block their beam with the Mirror Shield.
+Beamos made their first apperance in A Link to the Past. In this game they were indusructible totem pole-like enemies that would constantly spin around, gazing around the room. If its eye saw Link then the eye would fire a beam, dealing one heart damage. The only two ways to defend against tis undefeatable enemy is to A) Use the mirror shield, or B) Hide behind a pot.
