Yellow Chuchu Jelly can be obtained as a drop from [[Electric Chuchu]]s typically found in the dense forests of [[Faron (Breath of the Wild)|Faron]] or in the [[Gerudo Desert (Breath of the Wild)|Gerudo Desert]]. Regular [[Chuchu Jelly]] can also be turned yellow by attacking it with an electric based weapon while in close proximity. Yellow Chuchu Jelly can be sold to shop-vendors such as [[Beedle]] for 10 [[Rupee]]s each. Alternatively, they can also be traded with [[Kilton]] at his shop, the [[Fang and Bone]], for 5 [[Mon]] each.

Link can use Yellow Chuchu Jelly to upgrade the [[Rubber Set]]. The Level 1 upgrades of the [[Rubber Helm]], [[Rubber Armor]], and [[Rubber Tights]] will require 3 Yellow Chuchu Jelly in order to upgrade it. Furthermore, the Level 2 upgrades require 5 more Yellow Chuchu Jelly, as well as 5 [[Voltfruit]].

Like other monster parts, Yellow Chuchu Jelly can be cooked with Bugs, Frogs, or Lizards, to create [[Elixir]]s. The jelly doesn't add anything of substance while cooking, but it is required to make the Elixir. If Link adds chuchu jelly to a dish with regular food, or if the pot only contains monster parts, this will result in Link making [[Dubious Food]].
