Windcleavers have a base power of 40, and can be obtained by defeating [[Yiga Blademaster]]s in battle, which randomly teleport near [[Link (Breath of the Wild)|Link]] once he has defeated [[Master Kohga]] in the [[Yiga Clan Hideout]]. If one is swung, it has the ability to pierce the air and deal slight damage to enemies. | |||
The Windcleaver charge attack is atypical, and only one other two-handed sword - the [[Eightfold Longblade]] - shares it. Charging an attack and loosing it will result in a huge horizontal slash. This will pierce the air and make a vacuum that damages enemies within its limited range. Like the Longblade, it seems to be based on real-life Ōdachi samurai swords, though featuring holes on the length of the blade.
