There are no inhabitants of the area, instead it is full of enemies and open areas. The [[Gerudo]] race, which inhabited the desert area in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'', are nowhere to be found in this game, even though the desert here is called the [[Gerudo Desert]].
