In ''Ocarina of Time'', Darunia is the leader of the Gorons. He loves forest music and is the holder of the [[Goron's Ruby|Spiritual Stone of Fire]]. In order to get it, Link must go to [[Dodongo's Cavern]] to remove the seal and defeat [[King Dodongo]]. Upon completing the dungeon, Darunia makes Link his sworn brother and gives Link the second [[Spiritual Stones|Spiritual Stone]], the [[Goron's Ruby]].

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]'', the Goron Elder is the patriarch of the Gorons of [[Snowhead]]. He lives in the [[Goron Village]] with his son. When Link visits Snowhead before the completion of the Snowhead Temple, the Goron Elder can be found frozen in one of the large snowdomes outside the [[Goron Village]]. After speaking to the [[Goron Elder's Son]] in the [[Goron Shrine]], Link must thaw the Elder using [[Hot Spring Water]] in order to learn the first half of the [[Goron Lullaby]], a song which the Elder sings to his son to calm him down.

The [[Goron Elder (Oracle of Ages)|Goron Elder]] is the leader of the Gorons living within [[Rolling Ridge]]. Link will save the Goron Elder and acquire the [[Crown Key]], which gives Link access to the fifth dungeon in the game, the [[Crown Dungeon]].

There are four Goron Elders in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]'', and they are found on, in, and around [[Death Mountain]]. Three of them can originally be found in the [[Goron Mines]]. If Link visits them, they each give Link one [[Key Shard]], all three of which are required to restore the big key to its original form and open the boss door. After Link has completed the [[dungeon]], they leave the Goron Mines. Interestingly, the Goron Elders in this game are not the leaders of the Goron race. Instead, the leader is the Goron Patriarch, [[Darbus]]. The Goron Elders go by the names [[Gor Coron]], [[Gor Ebizo]], [[Gor Liggs]], and [[Gor Amoto]].

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks|Spirit Tracks]]'', the Goron Elder is the leader of the [[Goron]] race. He is the only one who knows the location of the [[Fire Sanctuary (Spirit Tracks)|Fire Sanctuary]]. When Link asks for the location of the entrance to the Fire Sanctuary, the Goron Elder is hesitant at first, but after Link saves the village, the Elder allows him to enter the Fire Sanctuary.
