Yes, I didn't give it a game title because it is in more than one game, but in the hint I said specifically OoT because I was thinking of the ones that jump, and I didn't think the red ones in the other games jumped. Maybe I'm wrong about that but.

no it isn't chuchus (3/7) I know that they appear in ALTTP, OOT, MM, and LA. Those are the games I can remember seeing them in, they more than likely appear in more.
