The Elder Scrolls. Yeah... I haven't played all of them but I have been playing them since Morrowind.
Assassin's Creed. Yay Free-running <----That one is my Favorite
Prince of Persia. See above
Gears of War. Burny, Burny, Cut, Cut
Mass Effect. Well not quite sure why I like this one really
Portal. Puzzles in teh futurez
Ace Combat. I <3 Planes
Halo. No comment
Doom. The father of FPS' and his weird children that budded off of his success

Beside the obvious (Zelda)..

~ GTA: Who doesn't love GTA?
~ Saint's Row: Just because it's sort of a parody of GTA
~ Call of Duty: Love the fast paced action multiplayer
~ The Elder Scrolls: Love me some RPG.. (SKYRIM!)
~ Mario: The second game franchise I fell in love with on the N64
~ Assassin's Creed: Love the Parkour and Stealth.. Altough the last games have been disappointments
~ Portal: Because it's a puzzle game..
~ Prince of Persia: But only the first three games, THA Trilogy (Warrior Within being my favorite)
~ SWTOR: Short for "Star Wars: The Old Republic".. It's an MMO set to release in December,the 20th. It's made by BioWare = ENDLESS, UNIQUE, MASSIVE STORY.. And anything else Star Wars related since it's my favorite movie franchise like.. ever

Half Life: It's a pity noone else on ZD has played it. (to my knowlage)

I've played Half Life 2 and the two episodes, never HL1. I agree, it is a really good FPS, and the story and characters really sell it for me. Alyx is so human, I've never believed a videogame character more than her.
