Ocarina of Time What is That Thing Floating in Lake Hylia?

In Ocarina of Time 3D, if you go to Lake Hylia as an adult, you will see a this thing that looks like a fish wearing a Sombrero.:hmm: I know it isn't in the original, what do you think it is.

It's the button/switch-thing you pulled out with your hookshot to access the temple

It was actually in the original version, it just looked slightly different. I was confused about what it was when I started playing through my OoT again, but I made it that far in Master Quest, which let me know what it was.
