The Legend of Zelda- A Link to the Past Help.?

Still playing, I finally made it to the dark world! I'm working on the 4th diamond thing, where you have to defeat the old gang member named Blind. I opened the hole so that the light would show through, and I went to were you fight him, but he is not there! So just asking, where is he? Cause he is not in the room he is supposed to be in

First of all this belongs in the Zelda game help section, but anyway did you find the maiden? she's somewhere locked in a cell in the dungeon, you have to talk top her so she'll follow you and then bring her into the light of that room. Hope this helps.
