In Phantom Hourglass, do you gain a certain ability after collecting all 20 of the power gems?

If you have 10 power you can use the spirit of power and your attacks will be stronger.. if you have 20 it'll be even stronger, 10 courage you get a sword beam, 20 it's stronger, 10 wisdom you are stronger so attacks hurt less.. like a shield.. or nayrus love.. but it doesn't use magic.. if you have 20 it's stronger.
Yes, you power up the spirits that you received in the game to their full potential if you have all 20 power gems. They get put up to half their power if you have 10 power gems.
For the Power Spirit if you get all 20 gems you can have your sword on fire and double attack strength.
For the Wisdom Spirit if you get all 20 gems you can have your defense doubled.
For the Courage Spirit if you get all 20 gems you can shoot a wide beam from your sword.
They get half of those abilities if you have 10 of their respective gems. To use those abilities you have to click on the spirit that you want to use.
