For the past few days, I've been playing Majora's Mask and I have been running around Termina trying to find all the masks. So far, I only have 20/20 masks.
Today, I shall post a thread that names each of the 20 mask, how to get them, and what each mask does. This may seem stupid to some people, but this could be informative/interesting.
1: The Great Fairy Mask.
This mask is resembling the Great Faries you meet at the Great Fairy Fountains in OoT and MM. in MM, this mask is basically used in temples. With the mask on, any nearby floating faries will come near you. And if there are any fairies in the room, the hair on the mask will sparkle a bit.
2: Stone Mask.
This mask is found in the Ikana Canyon. If you find the invisible guard in the circular rock pile (using the Lens of Truth), give him a red potion and he will get up. In thanks, he will give you the Stone Mask. The Stone Mask makes you as "plain as a rock". This mask is especially helpful in the Gerudo Pirate's Fortress. Wearing the Stone Mask allows the Gerudo to not notice you and you can ride on their patrol boats. It is possible to get through the Pirate's Fortress without the Stine Mask, but is extremely difficult.
3: The Blast Mask.
The Blast Mask you can recieve by helping out the Bimb Lady in North Clock Town at Midnight on the First Night. At Midnight (12:00AM), she will appear in Nrth Clock Town. Around 12:30 (when sun dial [minute hand] is pointing down), a man will come and steal her bomb back. Simply hit the man once with your sword and he'll drop the bag. The old woman will give you the Blast Mask in gratitude for your assistance. Witth the Blast Mask, you can make your face explode! Oddly, this is good. If you are surrounded by enemies (like Bad Bats), simply put on the Blast Mask, press R (shield button) and FIRE AWAY! This mask won't charge back up in a short period of time, but the explosion is worth it.
4: Bremen Mask.
The Bremen Mask can be found by talking to the music box man of the Gorman Brothers Troupe in the Laundry River area (i dont know the proper name, its basically the place where the kid with the Keaton Mask [forgot his proper name as well] goes after checking the mailbox). After talking to him, you will be given the Bremen Mask. While wearing this mask, you will be able to march around the world, playing a catchy song on the Ocarina. If there are any animal's in the immeadiate vicinity, they will follow you (i.e. Dogs, Chicks [baby cocoos], Coccos).
5: The Bunny Hood.
The Bunny Hood is the same mask you can sell in OoT, but you don't sell it. You get this mask by using the Bremen Mask in the Cocoo Shack in Romani's Ranch. Get near the 10 baby cocoo chicks and the young man sitting by the tree will be happy and give you the Bunny Hood. The Bunny Hood allows you to run twice as face and jump twice as far as you could before.
6: Mask of Scents.
The Mask of Scents is a mask that you win from the shrine west of the entrance to the Deku Palace. You must beat the WoodFall Temple's boss (Odolwa) to gain access to the shrine. In the shrine, you must follow the Deku Butler throughout the entire cavern system. He's fast, so I'd advise using the Bunny Hood to keep up with him. Once you reach the end of the shrine, he will give you the Mask of Scents. This mask heightens your sense of smell.
7: Romani's Mask.
This mask you win by escorting Romani's older sister, Cremia, to Clock Town to deliver the Milk. You HAVE to finish the "They" challange at Romani's Ranch on the First Night at 2:00AM. After protecting Cremia's wagon from the Gorman Brothers, you will be given the Romani Mask. This mask will allow you to enter the Milk Bar, Latte.
8: Circus Leader's Mask.
This mask is found in the Latte Milk Bar in East Clock Town. You need to have all 3 transformation masks (Deku, Goron, and Zora) and Romani's Mask to get this as well. Play for the Zora man (mini King Zora from OoT) the song he wants you to play for each transformation mask/original Link. Once you do so, the Circus Leader, who is having some milk at the bar, will reconize the song you played (Ballad of the Wind Fish). He will then give you the Circus Leader's Mask. This mask is kinda stupid. The only cool thing is hat when wearing it, it cries when you run. This mask only stops the Gorman Brothers from attack you and Cremia when you deliver the Milk to Clock Town. Ironically, if you got this mask before Romani's Mask, getting Romani's Mask would be a no-effort mask.
9:Kamaro's Mask.
This mask can be found on the mushroom-like things near the SnowHead mountains in Termina Field. Around 12:00AM, there is a man dancing on on of the mushrooms. Jump onto the mushroom and talk to him. After talking to him, you need to play the Song of Healing. This will then turn him into a mask. This mask allows you to do the dance Kamaro does when you see him. It's pretty amusing, yet creepy. It reminds me of some exotic dance. :xd:
10: Garo's Mask.
This mask is found at the Gorman RaceTrack near Romani's Ranch. If you have Epona's Song, use it to call Epona to you and talk to one of the Gorman Brothers. They will challange you to a race around their racetrack. If you win, you are given the Garo Maskc this mask allows you to get to the Ikana Canyon's river.
11: Mask of Truth.
This mask is found in the Fearful Skulltella's House. Once you lift the curse on the skulltella by killing all 30 of the Golden Skulltellas in the building, he will award you the Mask of Turth. Much like the Mask of Truth from OoT, this allows you to hear information from the Gossip Stones around Termina. This mask also allows you to hear the thoughts of animals.
12: Captian's Hat.
This mask is gained in the Ikana Graveyard. Play the Sonata of Awakening in front of the giant Stalchild and chase after him. Once you defeat him, he will give you the Captian's Hat. This mask is used mostly in the Ikana Graveyard at night to get certian items (Song of Storms [First Night], Piece of Heart [Second Night], Bottle [Final Night]).
13: Gibdo Mask.
This mask is found in Ikana Canyon in the music house. Once you play the Song of Storms inside the cave behind the house, enter the building by luring the girl out of the house with a bomb (or blast mask). Stay out of her sight, and when she's far enough away, get inside the building. Go downstairs and when the half-dead man gets out of the closet, play the Song of Healing to make him turn back to normal. After a small cutscene, get the Gibdo Mask. This mask allows you to nit be attacked by Gibdos. You can even talk to the Gibdos. This mask can also make ReDeads dance in your presence :xd: Just seeing the Dancing ReDeads makes me say "Bop chuwap! Bopchuwap! Bopchuwap! Bopchuwap!"
14: Don Gero's Mask.
This mask is collected in the Mountian Village (Village? Only one house!). Back in the Goron Shrine, light all the torches after playing the Goron Lullaby for the baby. After lighting the torches, go back to the top and smash the chandilier's vases until you get the Rock Serloin. Grab it and take it to the Goron at the Mountain Village. This mask let's you speak to the frogs of Termina and if you talk to them all, go back to the spring (Mountain Village after defeating Goht) and begin the Frog Choir.

15: Kafei's Mask.
This mask is givin to you by Kafei's mother in the Mayor's residence on the first day near 10:00AM. This mask allow you to ask the people of Clock Town about the whereabouts of Kafei.
16:All-Night Mask.
This mask is found at the Curosity Shop in West Clock Town. You MUST stop Sakon (the theif) from stealing from the old woman in North Clock Town on the first night at midnight! On the final night at 10:00PM, go inside the Curosity Shop and buy the All-Night Mask for 500 rupees. This mask allows you to stay awake through Anju's Grandmother's stories, getting you a heart container for each one.
17:Keaton Mask.
This mask is given to you by the Curosity Shop owner in Kafei's Hideout at 1:00PM on the third day. This mask gives you the power to summon the three-tailed man Keaton when you attack moving bushes with this on (such as the ones in North Clock Town).
18: Postman's Hat.
This hat is given to you by the postman as he delivers a letter at the Latte Milk Bar on the third night, around 3 hours remaining. This mask lets you see letters in the mailboxes.
19: Couple's Mask.
This mask is given to you by Anju and Kafei as they exchange their wedding masks in Anju's room at the Stock Pot Inn with only one hour left until tophe moon crashes onto Termina. When you wear this mask, you can soften people's hearts.
20: Giant's Mask.
This mask is found in the Stone Tower Temple. You find this mask before fighting the boss of Stone Tower Temple, Twinmold. This mask can only be used in the Twinmold boss battle. This mask makes you super huge!
Now, I can't let the most prized mask of all get tossed aside in this thread, no no no!
Fierce Deity Mask.
This mask is given to you just near the end of the game. Once you are at the final bosses, and you have all the 20 masks I have listed above, you shall be given the Fierce Deity Mask for the final fight against Majora! This mask turns you into a man weilded a kickin' sword! This mask can only be used in boss battles (unless you glitch).
There we go. We now have all the masks you collect (besides the main 3) and the reward mask! Thanks for reading!
