Enjoyed both the movie and the book. Louis Sachar has such interesting ideas. He was one of my favorite authors when I was younger.

Watched the movie and I say it's Shia LeBuffs only good acting role. My favorite character is Zero. The book didn't captivate me.

Yeah, in the book he was supposed to work off his weight, but the people who made the movie decided that they wouldn't be able to show that in the movie, so they just left his weight out.
I got the DVD for my Birthday a LONG time ago. Still have it.
I love the version of 'If only' that plays in the credits.
