I used to own basically all the Pokemon games, but now I only own my favorite of them all, Ruby.
Yes, I did stick with my Mudkip, the whole game, and he is an important part of my party.
Besides Groudon, Swampert (Mudkip too) is my favorite pokemon out of them all.

Usually I stick with My starter as I tend to love it a lot.
But if the need arises I will set it aside temporarily so I can get through a part.

For a large part of the game, but I normally end up ditching it right before the end of the game for a more interesting/better pokemon.

I always stick with it. Sometimes I switch it for a little while to try out other Pokemon, but usually with me until the very end. *sob*

Of course I stick with my starters no matter what. I mean, they're your very first Pokemon, a huge milestone in the trainer's life and it would pretty harsh to just stuff it in a PC.

i always seem to do water pokemon because it's super effective against fire AND rock. kill 2 birds with... ONE WATER POKEMON SUCKAA.

I always have my starter with me, no matter what game I'm playing. My starter is always the strongest Pokemon I have that is not a legendary. Long live my starters until the next Pokemon game! XD
