Link's C1, C2, C3, and C4 will kick his Spinner out afterwards, with Link summoning a new one for himself. Link can have up to three Spinners out at once, which each remain for around 20 seconds before vanishing. When struck with one of Link's Combo Attacks, a placed Spinner will perform a different attack.
