'''Queen Rutela''' is a character seen exclusively in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]''. During her life, she was the ruler of the [[Zora]] tribe, taking over after her husband, [[King Zora]], died. However, during [[Zant|Zant's]] invasion of [[Hyrule]], he sent [[Shadow Beast]]s to [[Zora's Domain]], where they executed Queen Rutela in front of all the Zoras. While this happens simultaneously with Link being put in prison at the beginning of the game, it is never seen. When [[Link]] melts the ice from [[Zora's Domain]], her ghost asks Link to help her son, [[Prince Ralis]], who has disappeared and is in danger of dying from an illness. After guiding him to [[Kakariko Village]], she takes Link through the [[Graveyard (Twilight Princess)|Graveyard]] to a secret chamber, where he receives the [[Zora Armor]]. This armor allows Link to breathe and swim underwater, but makes him more vulnerable to ice and fire attacks.
