The Noble Sword, called the White Sword in the Japanese version, is a sacred swordOoSOoA in Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. It is the strongest sword obtainable in a normal game, but only the third strongest in a Linked Game behind the Master Sword and Biggoron's Sword. In both games, it is the main reward for completing the Trading Sequence of each respective game.

The Noble Sword, or White Sword as called in the Japanese version, is a Sword that appears in both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. It is the second strongest sword obtainable in the game, the strongest being between the Master Sword and the Biggoron's Sword.

In Oracle of Seasons, the Noble Sword is again the reward for completing the Trading Sequence of the game. It is found deep within the Lost Woods, and the directions to get to its location can be acquired from a Deku Scrub that is found in a cave in the southwest area of the woods. The Deku Scrub is found humming to a song,OoS but starts to stare at Link's Phonograph.OoS If Link plays it, the scrub loves the tune, and teaches Link the directions to his "Secret Spot": "If temperatures rise as you go far to the west, you'll find it!".OoS Following these directions leads Link right to the Noble Sword.

Similarly to Oracle of Ages, the Noble Sword in Oracle of Seasons deals more damage than the Wooden Sword, but less damage than the Master Sword and Biggoron's Sword. Additionally, the Noble Sword can perform a Sword Beam at full health, allowing Link to be able to defeat enemies from afar.
During the quest for the Noble Sword, Link will obtain the the Broken Sword from the Elderly Zora in exchange for the Sea Ukulele. Then if the Broken Sword is taken to Restoration Wall, Patch will repair it for Link, but only after he completes the Restoration Ceremony.

In a Linked Game, the Noble Sword can also be acquired via the King Zora Secret. Once Link has acquired the Roc's Feather from the Poison Moth's Lair, he can travel far enough into the Hero's Cave that he encounters a Zora. This Zora tells Link that he is traveling the lands under King Zora's request in search of a new domain outside of Labrynna; however, no such place exists.OoS He then asks Link to tell his report to King Zora in Labrynna.OoS If Link tells the secret to King Zora, he tells Link he has done well, and rewards him by offering to sharpen his sword.OoA He also gives Link the secret to sharpening his sword in Holodrum,OoA which Link can tell Farore within the Hall of Secrets. His sword is then upgraded, either from the Wooden Sword to the Noble Sword or the Noble Sword to the Master Sword, depending on whether or not Link has completing the Trading Sequence yet.

During the quest for the Noble Sword, Link will eventually enter the Lost Woods. After Link has played the Phonograph for the Deku Scrub it will tell him the direction he must go to find the Noble Sword.
Oracle of Ages
In Oracle of Ages, the Noble Sword is the reward for completing the Trading Sequence, and is acquired from Patch, the self-proclaimed restoration guruOoA who can be found in a small cave atop Restoration Wall.OoA Patch takes the Broken Sword, which Link acquired from the Old Zora in exchange for the Sea Ukulele, and offers to use his Restoration Ceremony to fix it.OoA If Link successfully completes the game, Patch gives Link the Noble Sword, saying it is perfect.OoA

The Noble Sword deals more damage than the Wooden Sword, but less damage than the Master Sword and Biggoron's Sword. Additionally, the Noble Sword can perform a Sword Beam at full health, allowing Link to be able to defeat enemies from afar.

In a Linked Game, the Noble Sword can also be acquired via the Clock Shop Secret. After Link has completed the Skull Dungeon, an old woman appears beside the Ember Tree in South Lynna, the area just south of Lynna City in the Present. She asks if Link knows about the Clock Shop found in Holodrum, and then tells Link to dig around the back of it and tell a secret to a friend of hers there.OoA If Link digs behind the shop with the Shovel, he reveals an underground room, where the Old Man can be found. The Old Man acknowledges the "old hag"'s message, and tells Link that if he can pass his test, he will give Link's sword new power.OoS The test involves Link slaying 12 beasts in 30 seconds, without being slain himself.OoS If Link successfully completes the test, the Old Man observes that the old hag has chosen well,OoS and gives Link's sword new power.OoS The Old Man then gives Link a secret so he can give his sword new power in Labrynna, as well.OoS If Link tells this secret to Farore within the Hall of Secrets, his sword will be upgraded; either from the Wooden Sword to the Noble Sword, or the Noble Sword to the Master Sword, depending on whether Link has completing the Trading Sequence yet.
