I found a reliable drop point by chance and wanted to share it. The BotW Wiki already helped me tremendously, so I'd like to pay it foreward. And yes, I just only made an account here because of this. :)

A realiable location to farm item off Naydra is to sit anywhere until night, then warp the [[Jitan Sa'mi Shrine]] on top of [[Mount Lanayru]] (cold protection recommended). Exit the cave of the shrine and find yourself to any comfortable gliding spot facing North-East. Now start to fly between 00:00 - 02:00AM, also facing North-East One in direction Tarm Point or Lodrum Headland. As soon as you'll approach the sea between the two hillsides, you'll see Naydra flying in from the left (North-West). Just stay your course as Naydra will eventually make a turn and head towards you in a straight line. | |||

It tends to circle the peak of the mountain before heading down through the [[Lanayru Promenade|Promenade]]. Catch an updraft from Naydra to get closer, then fire an arrow from the air.
