The Kidnapped Child is a small lost child that has been taken away by an orange [[Lizalfos]] into a cave in the southern half of [[Maze Island (The Adventure of Link)|Maze Island]]. The [[Kidnapped Child's Mother|child's mother]], an elderly woman who lives in the [[Mountain Town of Darunia]], has been worried sick and requests that [[Link (The Legend of Zelda)#The Adventure of Link|Link]] stage a rescue. Inside the cave, Link must defeat an orange Lizalfos. When he reunites the mother and child, she will allow Link to meet the [[Wise Men|Wise Man]] who teaches Link the [[Reflect Spell]].
