Subject: ...I'm not entirely sure, I supposed it's a feature more than anything. Though in some circumstances it could technically be an enemy... (though don't dwell on that too much). Appears/Used in both sidequests and dungeons, and it appeared in 3 games, all of which were 3D ones.

Soft; I lie low, spawn magic, and yield rupees to the smallest of guests.

Is it a floormaster? (the hand thing?) Oh, no! That tan monster in OoT that would swallow you and steal ruppees and sometime tunics and shields.

Good thinking again, but it's neither because they both appeared in more than those 3 games :3

Nope, but still around the right theme here. This is one of the main uses for the thing in the riddle, anyway. If I say, Link's not the only one character who can use them... does that confuse you all more?

What about... Deku Nuts? I've seen Sheik and Impa use them before they disappear, and they can be used to stun Deku Scrubs, I think.
