Why Does Link Always Get Pick for the Adventure?

every link is a totally diffrent person no way related you can name your character any thing you want it dosent have to be link just people assume its link from legends people give ,as explained in ww, boys green clothes hoping a hero would come so it dosent have to be link it could be any body you think of as a name the links are not all the same some links have brown hair and some have bloned hope this clears some things up
