When You Make a Character, Does It Look Like You?

My first character/play through, yeah I make them look similar to me. 2nd playthrough and onwards; anything is fair game!

I make my characters look like how I ideally would want to look. Elf ears, brightly colored hair (all depending on what options are available, if I can go with blue, I will go with blue), pretty tattoos, fangs, etc. It all comes down to what the options are, really...

Most of the time yes. But there are times that I create good-looking female characters too.

Yes, I tend to make characters that look like me, though it really depends on what all the options are.

I always make a character that doesn't look like me, I don't really like immersing with video games. The only kind of customized character that even remotely looks like me is my Mii, that's it..

Usually I will make it look like me. Helps me to feel more connected with the game and everything. Makes me feel like I'm actually in it.

I don't. Oddly enough, I find having someone who looks like me and whatnot only breaks the immersion. I suppose because it makes the experience more obviously fake.

I like to make a character that I like. It just so happens to look like me at times.

Nope. I always make my characters look like how I want to look, which is usually extremely different looking from how I want to look.
