Voice Acting in Zelda, my opinion

Another thing that prevents Zelda from having Voice acting is Naming your character. You can't have both voice acting and naming the character

Do it like Star Ocean Till the End of Time does it: always refers to the characters by their actual names, but you read the text using the names you select. So, let's say Zelda is in your party. You could name Zelda "Sarah" for instance, but during cutscenes and other voiced work, they would call her Zelda. Same with Link -- I could name him "Abdullah" but they would still call him Link.

That'd be really weird but it could work.

I don't like that idea at all. Why would you name the Character only to have NPCs call you by the Character's default name? I think that's pointless and it doesn't make much sense.

Zelda should certainly have voice acting. Most modern games do. Zelda should move forward and stop teasing us with the characters mouths moving. Voice acting in Halo, skyrim, gears of war and many other blockbuster titles is all fantastic. The games would not be as good without it. It is something that Zelda lacks and when it is implemented I think we will realise what we have been missing out on.
