Both Winds and Trains. I always envisioned a game where a new Link in New Hyrule went on an adventure with a seasoned ST Link to outset, where they find an old WW/PH Link and you could play as all 3.

Of course I just want Links from across generations to show up more often in general. The fact that the only time it’s ever happened was in TP of all games is a huge wasted opportunity. I’d rather have that than a playable Zelda.

As much as I love WW, it'd be funny to see MC Link as a Stalfos, training one of his spiritual successors. Bonus points if the current Link asks about how he dealt with Ganon, and MC Link is just like, "Ganon? Who's that?? WHAT ABOUT VAATI, IS HE STILL SEALED IN THE FOUR SWORD?!!?" Even more bonus points if this takes place in one of the timelines where Vaati is still very much sealed away.

The hero of BotW/TotK. He should be able to pass great skills to the next hero.
I also love to see Toon Link return as the hero's shade. They should do this more often in the series

I'd want to see the Link from Zelda 1 and 2 again, just for the coolness factor of having the "original" hero appear again

Wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of the Hero of Twilight's story in some way. To carry on the same kind of legacy that the shade before him did. Also the Hero of Winds too.
