I’m now realizing that stalfos enemies are the most consistently annoying enemy type throughout the series. Most of them have some sort of gimmick that makes them not fun to fight. Stalmasters are probably the best of the ones in this poll that actually have a unique fighting style to them though.

The Wind Waker ones are cool tho. I like their spinning.

The TP Stalchilds will show up later in another poll, but the Stalhounds aren't Stalfos so they won't be here. Not doing all the Stal enemies, only the ones that fall under the "Fos" category (yes, the children, masters, champions etc also fall under this, while the Stal enemies from BotW/TotK and certain other ones doesn't)

I went with SS since the Stalmaster was pretty memorable to me.
I think it should just be "stal" enemies, rather than "fos" enemies, given "wolfos" by that rule, but that's just me. Also, where's the TP stalfos? Or were they not called Stalfos in TP...?

I find that the ones in Wind Waker to be the most fun and expressive, especially in how they’ll use their own body parts as weapons if you stole theirs. Though I do also like the one mini boss In Majora’s Mask.

Well there are many different subcategories within the larger categories, and other categories that crossover between the categories.
I wanted these polls to specifically be about the "Stalfos" subcategory of Stal-enemies, but that also includes certain Stal-enemies that doesn't necessarily have the "Fos" suffix. Mainly it's the ones with human-like skeletons I'm referring to here, which means no Stal-animals or the Stal monsters from BotW/TotK for example.
I could do a "Fos" poll in the future with Stalfos, Wolfos, Lizalfos etc., but this one is specifically for the subcategory of Stal-enemies with human-like skeletons
