That's a tough one. I used many items a lot but my fav might be the hookshot

I've always enjoyed Hammers in Zelda, so that's my pick!

It’s been a while since I’ve played LBW, but I remember liking the nice Hookshot quite a bit. It would probably be more useful if they didn’t tie every item to the dumb stamina meter though.

The nice hookshot dealing damage is great. Nice bombs are also useful with their larger damage radius.
