Microsoft UK Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) Rejects Microsoft/Activision Deal

The UK's CMA has rejected the Microsoft/Activision deal.

The main reason cited is that this would lead to less competition in the cloud gaming space for UK gamers. The article maintains that Microsoft already owns 60-70% of cloud gaming in the UK.

What are your thoughts on this news?

The deal has already been approved in a number of countries like Saudi Arabia so this is the first major hurdle it's facing.

We'll see what happens in the U.S. with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
