Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums, although not ZD, and this is my first post! I found the Triforce Quest to be the largest flaw in the original game, which is nonetheless one of my favorite in the series. In my opinion retrieving the charts and corresponding triforce pieces completely ruined the pacing towards the end of the game. It would have been so much better had Nintendo simply spread the Triforce Quest more evenly througout, with dungeons breaking up the collection process, rather than lumping it all at the tail end of the game and bringing the plot development to a screeching halt. While eliminating the charts would undoubtedly expedite this tedious segment of the game, I don't believe it gets at the root of the problem.
