The classification of the two types of links is GLOVES!
gloves are used for protection against dirt, debris, mechanical hazards, sharp objects and low-level chemicals and should be used in all combat to prevent damage to your hands. Hands must be protected as they are essential for combat, one of the things link does on a daily basis, yet "toon" link (link from WW PH and ST) fails to use them. Most of the other links do and I consider this a big disgrace. (I understand that older games link doesn't have gloves, but he doesn't have pants either, so yeah.) Tell me what you think. I dont really think Its such a big deal.
