Old masters

We all know some of the old masters (painters). But do you have a fav painter or fav style of painting?
I like many. I can't really name a specific one I like the most but I do love landscapes and sceneries.

It's (sometimes) Stephen King for me. While I'm not a big horror fan, I dig the more fantasy leaning books King has written such as Fairy Tale and 11/22/63. He's got an abbreviated yet descriptive style of writing that I do my best to emulate, but the man himself is not without flaws: his endings suck. Just a few weeks ago I listened to the audiobook of Fairy Tale and broke out laughing at how bad the ending was. The man has an unfortunate tendency to make his protagonists turn into Stephen King by the end.
