Breath of the Wild ok, the DLC..

i'm sure this has been discussed, but i can't find what i'm looking for.

if i'm playing the Wii U version and buy the DLC package, and then buy a Switch in the future.. would i have to buy it again?

The Wii U purchases are tied to the console, the Switch purchases are tied to the user, so I'm fairly certain you would have to buy it again for the other console.

guess i'll wait until mario odyssey comes out to buy the switch, and the botw dlc.............. me and millions of people i'd imagine

Nintendo is not known for being cross-platform friendly. As Fi from SS would say, "There's a 95% chance you would have to pay for the DLC content twice for 2 different consoles".
