I don't want to say.
This is me practicing bard-songs and rhyming. I intend to remake this in the future into something better, but for now enjoy the first part of my bard-song, the child section.

A story of the days of yore,
Before Twilight amassed and wolves would soar.
When an expansive land was not so grand,
and the horrors of war made our lore.

There once in a forest strong and old ,
slept a boy in green and hair of gold.
Soon, his peaceful life would be in strife,
and then his story would unfold.

A parasite would soon arise,
to steal jewels and terrorize.
With a fatal swing the woods would sing,
"Go forth oh child take your prize."

The quest would soon reach out to the fields.
To castles tall and gates firmly sealed.
A princess wise and a man of lies,
a quest to find treasure concealed.

Dodongo flames burst into wrath,
the boy continued his undaunted path.
The goron mold as bright as gold,
a token to the aftermath.

The zora sapphire was a piece of glass
hiding in Jabu's blubbery mass.
though Barinade's hide was thick and skin slick,
before the boy he breathed his last.

The sky is black and the town is red.
Women and children killed in their beds.
The princess flees into the trees,
her pursuer chases her with intense dread.

The child takes up evil's bane,
but much to his own disdain,
the devil man with an evil plan,
escaped to the golden land to reign.

The poor child found himself at bay.
His vision soon began to sway.
His tiny cries rang out to the skies,
that he would return another day.

Hey, this is not bad at all. I wish I could make a poem, or a song, etc. I have never tried it. My sister, though, she's a killer at these things. I might ask her to teach me. I know all you have to do is make things rhyme, but you have to be creative in what you say too, how you organize the lines, etc. So good job, Charge. One question...do you actually sing this in real life?

Very nice Bardsong Charge. It reminds me a ton of the ones in The Lord of the Rings. Making all of those rhymes must be a real pain. Keep going!

I do sing. It's a habit of mine, but I don't sing in a band or anything.

Adult Section:

In many a year the boy did woke,
To find that he’d become a bloke.
With sword in hand and fate so grand,
he made his way to the forest folk

A Moblin’s tough but hookshot's strong.
The arrow swift at the phantom throng.
The sage of green is saved and freed.
The forest once more sings its song.

The mountain smokestack spells out doom.
The dragon inside would consume,
the Goron tribe without a bribe.
A hero comes and fight ensues.

The Zoras trapped in icy chill,
their hearts still go but fins are still.
It’s Morpha’s blight that is their plight.
Our hero’s blade goes in for the kill.

In shadowed world where dark things loom.
In Bongo’s ol’ forgotten tomb.
For sage of black and darkness pact.
The boy would face the drums of doom.

A desert flower stripped apart,
With armor black and molded heart.
Through witches fire and frozen ire.
To evil castle he departs.

With all but one to darkened lands.
A strengthened heart and golden hands.
The princess found with mask unwound.
Her grace stolen at his command.

The tower reached unto the heights.
Its master strong with the golden light.
Their blades would clash and sparks would flash.
The hero struck with all his might.

The Desert man beneath his blade.
His evil realm did then decay.
The hero gone with sword withdrawn,
Into the light where it was made.

I like I like I like. :> I'm a bit of a dork with bard songs, so this really made my day. Now you have to record yourself strumming a lute and singing it! :>

I wish I knew how to play a lute or I'd gladly sing it. Then again there is the problem of not having a lute in a first place.

This little number is written for my latest chapter of my fan fiction.

Fairy Hollows

Drip drip drop,
Drip drop drip,
Drip drop into the Fairy Hollows.
We ask you to not bring in troubles.

Our halls are sanctuary,
We do not wish to fight.
Why don't we make some merry,
and stay up till the night?

Do not be alarmed,
We wish to be your friends.
Do not give us harm,
For we could not contend.

The evil king is out and free,
Performing his devilry.
So here we shall hide,
Watching the world go by.

Drip drip drop,
Drip drop drip,
Drip drop into the fairy hollows!
We ask you not give us troubles.

Will you stay tonight
or will you fly today?
We do not encourage flight.
Let's dance the night away.

The horrors never come this way,
So do not be so scared,
But also keep the light at bay,
For it too can ensnare.

Drip drip drop.
Drip drop drip.
Drip drop into the fairy hollows.
Try not to get into trouble...

I don't want to say.
This song was one of MK9's requests, so I have granted it. (This song is played by only two bongo drums, for intensity.)

A chamber of the dark!
A chamber of the light!
A black swirling arc!
The hero will fight!

Devil nan,
Evil man,
Twisted man,
Horror man,
Ganondorf!

The Arrow is long
It flies with a golden light
Piercing with a song,
so hero must fight.

Fallen man,
Desert man,
Thieving man,
Gerudo man,
Ganondorf!

One swing,
TCH!
Two swing,
HAUGH!
Three swing,
The evil king falls.

(Drums beat and slow down)

The castle would fall,
But evil lives on,
The demon is tall,
The flesh is his pawn!

Risen Devil,
Fighting Devil,
Darkened Devil,
Hated Devil,
Ganon!

The arm is quick,
The sword is fast,
Steel will lick,
Flesh so vast.

Demon falls to the boy,
taken back by his sword.
When he's sent to the void,
The world becomes wet and cold.

Evil king,
Devil beast,
Desert man,
returns later for the feast.

(I found it a little unimpressive, I'll try harder next time.)

I don't want to say.
Oh you've come oh son of stars,
From the lands of time afar.
A hero's welcome for return.
A hero's sentence for goodbye.

Now good hero where's your soul?
Has it moved on with the wind?
If you keep your spirit whole,
You'll find the courage deep within.

Oh the roads are always long,
and eventually we'll get lost.
But with head held high and strong,
A victory is never false.

Know your friends are never gone,
You made an eternal bond.
They have rested in your soul,
and will never leave you cold.

So you're heading off today?
I suppose you must make haste,
For there's little time to stray,
There's no time to simply waste.

So what good are our lives,
if we never meet again?
I shall wait here for all time.
And your journey never ends.

Oh you've come oh son of stars,
From the lands of time afar.
A hero's welcome for return.
A hero's sentence for goodbye.

I had made this little song for Atsuma's Challenge and since the challenge is over I decided to post this here. The first person to guess the plot wins a cookie :P.
