The game takes place in the era of chaos. The game begins in a small village near hyrule castle hyrule had been founded 1000 years ago link and his grandparents live there he is given a package that he must get to hyrule castle he is given epona for the trip and a sword to defend himself he sets of to hyrule castle once he arrives in castle town he encounters a group of cloaked men in a dark alleyway they tell him to stay out of there business and one threatens to grab his dagger link walks away of them and continues to hyrule castle once inside he heads to the throne room there he turns in the package and while returning stumbles into zelda she tells him to follow her once alone she tells him about about a suspicious group of people that she has been seeing and asks link to investigate he agrees and locates the group while listening he hears about a plan to take over hyrule and find the sacred realms entrance link rushes out to zelda but is encountered by one he fights and defeats him he tells zelda the situation she gasps at what she hears and tells link he must find the entrance to the sacred realm and protect it she entrusts him the ocarina of time telling him it was carved from timeshift stones he takes the ocarina and zelda also entrusts him with a wooden sheild and calls upon a guardian of the royal family who takes the form of a fairy she tells link that she will help him on his journey link sets off to the whereabouts zelda told him which leads him to faron woods where he searches for a small old temple and finds it, it was once called the sealed temple he enters and sees a shining sword on a pedestal he looks around the place a little bit and goes over to the sword and touches it he is immediately sent into a portal when he awakes he finds himself in a area with a lake he is informed he has entered the trial of the godesses and is told that he must complete 3 temples before he can return to the normal world his first location is the lake of nayru after exploring link finds out people live in this world it is a alternate world he goes through a series of objectives before he can enter the temple of nayru in the lake. afterwards he is transported to the forest of farore after he completes the temple he is sent to the volcano of din after completing the temple link awakes in the temple and finds the master sword in his hands he is told to take the blade of evils blight. He returns to hyrule castle to find it in ruin he finds out that the interlopers have taken over hyrule castle he rushes in through the secret entrance and finds zelda in a chamber with the king she tells link to use the master sword to defeat the interlopers he hurries to the throne room and finds the leader sitting on the throne. He fights him with the master sword only to lose. He knocked out of the castle window and finds himself in a house with impa she tells him that the master sword has not fully recognized him and that he must go through 7 temples and awaken the sages to make him able to use the master swords full power he is given the hylian sheild and the location of the 7 temples after completing them link goes to hyrule castle frees everyone but finds out the interlopers are heading to the sacred realm he rushes to the temple and fights through the interlopers and follows the leader into the sacred realm where the final battle occurs his evil heart corrupts it slowly and he gains twili markings all over him he then becomes more demon like and a final battle occurs where link almost loses and kills the leader he then touches the triforce and asks for a mirror that seal the interlopers away into another realm once he returns with the mirror he asks the seven sages to use there power to send the interlopers away which activates the mirror and sends them into the realm of never ending twilight. With his adventure over link returns the master sword and returns home. Hope you liked it!
