My Gamecube is Acting Weird

I need help and cannot sent it to Nintendo because my mom is too lazy to do it. My GC's colors are very light and blurry. Purple appears as black, red seems to be very light, etc.. I was wondering in anyone can help.

Thanks. I will try and see if it works! Can anyone else help out with advice?

Well, I'm pretty sure that if you need a replacement A/V cable, a SNES or N64 one will work. I think.

Reaca is correct a Snes/N64 cable will work. You can search ebay amazon etc for a cable.
Maybe someone just adjusted the settings on your tv I dunno.
Like bubblecrash said it's most likely the Av cable , check it to see if there's any damage as well.
