My friend is having difficult making an account

Their account name is lain and i think they probably got caught by some sort of spam filter. Initially when they signed up it said they would need to wait for their account to be approved by an admin but now it says they've been banned for spamming. Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you.

Assuming I got the right account, I’ve lifted the ban. It seems their account is now approved. Let me know if that’s done it when you can.
