Tears of the Kingdom Menu stuck on the materials page whenever I open it now

As title, my menu start acting weird and it won't stay on the page as I exited it last time, and no matter which page I was on the last time when I exit it, it always stuck on the materials page when I open it now.

Is this happening to anyone or does anyone know how to fix this issue please?

I believe if you collect a material, the game tries to be helpful and put the cursor on that material when you open the menu next time. Nothing's wrong with the game if it's doing that but I get it can be a bit counter-intuitive at times.

All right, I figured it out. It turns out the devs are actually wicked smart, and they made the TotK menu context-aware! I just tested in my own game and confirmed that if you are next up to a Zonai dispenser and you access your menu, the game will force your menu to open to materials, because that's the most likely menu you will want to access in that circumstance. I don't know if you're experiencing this next to a device dispenser or in some other circumstances entirely, but I can confirm the menu is context-aware. So try just taking 10 steps in a different direction and see if the menu goes back to normal functionality.
