Does anyone remembering BS Zelda for the Super Nintendo expansion BS-X?
Well, I don't know that much of the expansion either, because it was only released in Japan. But the project (the system was five years on air) is to date totally unique.
Broadcasting games like a Television Show. Playing together with many other gamers around Japan (like the online gaming nowadays). This was so interactive.
The sattelite radio company St. GIGA developed a few game for the BS-X expansion. Among these games were three Zelda games. Also called BS Zelda.
- BS The Legend of Zelda
- BS The Legend of Zelda: The Ancient Stone Tablets
- BS The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods
The first remake is probably the most noticeable. It is yet the one and only remake of the classic Legend of Zelda for the NES. It features complete new graphics and sounds.
For further informations (because there are so many informations related to this project), visit the BS Zelda section at the Zelda Wiki and Zeldalegends.net (there is a video with nearly 30 minutes of ingame footage).

I'm always in search of rare gems belonging to the Zelda series. And this is definitely a very nice catch. A project only possible in Japan (not sure about The United States).
There are even hacked roms available (which I can't provide), featuring most of the stuff that was broadcasted.
In Japan, BS Zelda was very popular. So, if this is the first time you heard from the BS games, take a look at the videos.
And again (like in my Zelda 64 and Ura Zelda Thread), I'm interested in your opinion. Do you think you had fun with BS Zelda, too? A game which was broadcasted like a Television Show? Not available whenever you want. But in any other ways, this was unique.
