After waiting 2 years for these to come back, I finally have one in our yard. Actually had 2 but i strongly suspect my dog ate one. Think i might try and get a brown orb weaver to feed it.

They're actually super chill, they only get aggressive if they're protecting their eggs or you're damaging their web. They're extremely fast though, they'll sprint around their webs like they're running track.

Meh, it's one of the less heeby jeeby looking spiders imo. If you think they're bad, you should see the ones in my dreams. Those get weird.

I haven't had any spider dreams in a while, but they often follow the same pattern: *abnormally large spider exists*
someone: "it needs to be moved"
Me: "OH BOY! YIPPEE! I WILL CATCH IT"
*messes up in some way that causes the spider to bite me*
And then I wake up as the spider bites lol.
