Help! Identify This!

My mom got me this toy SEVERAL years ago, but didn't realise it needed another toy to function. I've been trying to find the toy that this goes with, but I can't remember what these toys were called. So, I came to you wonderful people, in the hopes that someone here knows what this is and what it goes to.

It had several figurines with it, too, that I think plugged into the main unit.

OMFG I ACTUALLY STILL HAVE THAT. This is what the whole thing is supposed to look like. Apparently its called a VTrainer 2.0... I'm not 100% sure, but yeah.
