Final Pre Launch TotK Trailer

Really good trailer. It follows the template of Breath of the Wild's final trailer with increasingly faster music and more epic action with dialogue in the middle at the end, but there are definitely some moments where Tears of the Kingdom carves its own identity.

We've known for a while that Zelda and Ganondorf will have larger roles in this game, and it's exciting to see more of that. I was surprised to see Ganondorf at one point in the trailer look a lot like his Twilight Princess self. That was a nostalgic throwback.

Dodging lasers and moving through some kind of water bubbles looked amazing. I also loved Link approaching a Talus with a vehicle made by Ultrahand.

I can't wait. Less than a month to go.

I cannot believe I got everything I asked for, even the most obscure things I never thought would happen. Reconstruction. NPC allies. Fighting alongside the Champion Successors and their heavy story involvement along with callbacks to Age of Calamity. Soft confirmation of AoC being canon looks more likely than ever and that makes me extremely happy and perhaps a bit smug. It looks like the folks who wanted "proper" dungeons back are gonna be fed well. The people who complained about it just looking like DLC should have no further room to complain, as well. It even implies a lot of heavy story focus. This trailer shows a lot of listening, and its all coming together beautifully. There's not a doubt in my mind that this will dethrone BotW as the greatest game ever made. I am so hungry for this game to come out. This single trailer was well-worth the long information drought.

An absolute knock out of a final trailer. I don't even know where to begin talking about it. The Ganondorf design is amazing. Potential dungeons have me very excited. Riju got a haircut. I'm also pretty excited to work with Teba's kid, he's adorable. Honestly with all the npcs in this trailer it's giving me Hyrule-stands-together vibes, which isn't a bad thing. I think the only negative I saw in this whole thing is a clip where Link is pulling some npcs in a wagon. If that's an escort mission I will be so angry. Otherwise, super amazing I didn't know I could be more excited than I already was and yet here we are. Just one more month, guys.

This scene. This scene was 100% a debug camera on gameplay. The framing, the stillness of Zelda, the camera movements. There's no way this is a cutscene. Playable Zelda is real. PLAYABLE ZELDA IS ****ING REAL. BET.

Why would they not utter a single word about it tho?

It is still a possibility since they both got separated at the begginginging and both may have their own part to play

The same reason they haven't uttered a word about many other things. It's a surprise and this was meant to be a hint. (i hope so anyway...) but man that scene just really looks like debug camera on gameplay. Zelda is too idle to be a part of a cutscene. Like you look at any other cutscene in that trailer. Zelda's idleness in this scene is not cutscene idleness. I am going insane over this crumb now.

It's starting to look a lot like what BotW should have been. It was a good trailer on it's own, but I still can't help but feel that the whole game is just going to be a 'too little, too late' deal. It would have helped tremendously if they had given us a different plot and overworld.

I'm not seeing what you're seeing, also her last line is telling Link to find her which kinda kills the idea for me

I'd gladly be wrong though
