My favorite Zelda character besides Link is Shiek. I liked Impa to, so to see another sheikah was amazing. plus Sheik just looks awesome. My least favorite character is that Tingle guy. wanna be fairy boy.

I dunno who my favorite is, but BOTW Zelda is certainly my least.
That's mostly due to her North American voice actress. Any time she starts to speak it's like "Spit it out already! Why do you talk so slow? Why is your tone so bored and flat? Why do you over enunciate so strongly? ARG!"
(this is a very minor complaint for an amazing game)

Link knows that there were no bad intentions behind what she did. He accepted that and didn't let what she did to not even hurt him bother him.

Do you want to have someone who saved Link's life eat dirt just because she wanted him to win an important ceremony? She was looking out for him, and he did the same to her. I don't think you are understanding that
