Do You Turn Off the Sound When....

It depends on the music, but if I am having trouble with something(puzzle, boss) then I will mute the sound, as that helps me think better...

I only turn off the sound if I am listening to music in the background (which is often )

Ive muted my TV in only 2 parts of a game and thats Shadow Kanji and Shadow Rise of persona 4. For obvious resons

I will often only turn down the sound if the game has sexual scenes with of course sexual sounds, I don't want everyone in the house or outside as I have my windows open in the summer to think I'm watching porn in the daytime, they hear that shizzle enough at night.

I rarely turn off the sound. Even if it's horrible, I like to hear the game. But, arcade-like games I'll usually play music. Like Binding of Isaac; I often play that while YouTube/music is playing on the other monitor and stuff like that. But the boyfriend does that, where he'll mute a game and just listen to music and I hate that. I nearly hit him when he did to to Halo, which has an amazing soundtrack!

I always make sure to have the sound on. If it's an annoying sound that pops up, I'll get over it.

The only time I don't have the sound going is if my portable devices are not plugged in, because I like to conserve the battery. Instead I'll just pop on some music that I might have lying around.
