Design a modern era Zelda

Zelda is pretty set in its ways with having a ye olde fantasy setting, we've never seen a Zelda game in the modern 21st century world.

So, based on Aonuma saying that he'd love to see the Master Cycle (or Eponator if you're German), I want you to design a modern world Zelda game.


Mine would feature Malon and Zelda as two hot biker Chicks (Epona Motorcycles ltd.) And Ganondorf as an occultist trucker looking for the Triforce of Wisdom. Naturally the girls land themselves in an embuggerance and the cool misunderstood outlaw rebel known as Link is the one to save them.

LonLon Ranch would be a garage,

Hyrule Castle would be a Casino (in fact Zelda could b the daughter of a wealthy Casino owner)

Goron Mines ltd are a company of handymen creatures that work in construction

Zora's Domain could be a nightclub filled with booze where people drink like fish!

Oddly I always see a "space age" Zelda being a Toon-Link game.

I dunno. I think maybe it's because any technological advances are always accompanied by either Toon Link or a chibi-ized Link. (Think Link's Awakening.)

This may not be modern, but it is in comparison to Zelda. I would love to see a western vision of Zelda. By western I mean like cowboys Indians and gun slingers. Zelda as usual being ur damsel in distress. Like being ur gunslinger "sherrif in Town" and ganon would be the outlaw. I'm sure u could imagine it without me explaining it.

Link is a college student preparing for final exams when he sees on the news that Prime Minister Daphnes Hyrule's daughter Zelda has been kidnapped. The only lead they have is an untraceable call asking one million dollars and a Hyrule family heirloom. Link shrugs it off at first until on his way to school one day a hooker calling herself Farore stops him. Talking about Destiny and save the princess. Link assumes she's on drugs until she gives him his Triforce piece. link must fulfill his destiny and honor his ancestors. Ganondorf is gonna be like a high level sex trafficker and drug smuggler. Kingpin type stuff. Lets start link off with a kitana and pistol. Give him some grenades, a hookshot for easy skyscraper travel and maybe molotovs later, top it off with the master sword and a sawed off. Throw in some computer hacking puzzles and blowing up a gas station. Heck lets give him a helicopter later called the Loftwing. Let link meet the other two godesses disguised as idk a bartender and... A ... Homeless woman.... Tingle sells crystal meth somewhere. The postman has the fastest Vespa in the city. Malon can own that garage you talked about fixing and upgrading EponaX. In the end Link gets kidnapped by Ganon loses all his equipment and ends up fighting ganon on top of a building or on a plane with just the master sword.
