Twilit wildcat: Aerofelis
Okay, we know that the form you take in the dark world reflects your spirit, and twilight forms work similarly, you turn into an animal that fits you if you have a triforce piece. There have been threads asking what you would be. This isn't one of them. Think of the many different characters in Zelda games, pick some and think of what they would be. Try to base it on their personality and stuff like that, not their race, I don't want to see Ruto having a fish form for example, unless you can come up with a reason her personality/spirit is like a fish.
For the appearance, remember that Wolf Link just had Human Link's eye color. His fur wasn't dark blond like his hair. So you don't have to give them the same coloration as their true form entirely.
Character Name: Groose
Form Species: Lion
Form Appearance: Tawny colored like a regular lion, only with a red mane and tail tuft. Golden yellow eyes.
Reasoning: He's always strutting around like he owns the place, his "I'm better than you" nature fits the king of beasts. Even after the character development deflates his ego a bit, a lion still fits him because he appears loyal to his friends, yet a bit of loner when he feels like it. Lions are the only felines that live in groups, but the males tend to keep to themselves most of the time.
Character Name: Pipit
Form Species: Eagle
Form Appearance: Golden eagle, because his loftwing is gold and I just think it fits better than a bald eagle. Darker flecks on the face under his blue eyes(freckles!)
Reasoning: Proud, honorable, etc. Eagles are symbols of that. Also he has the tendency to "swoop down" when he's needed/somebody is being bullied, as seen in the beginning of the game when Groose hid Link's loftwing and told Fledge he would kick his butt if he talked. Pipit convinced Fledge to say what he knew. America has that kind of role in the world today, trying to solve conflicts without violence, but can fight when provoked. And the eagle is America's mascot...so a character with those traits like Pipit would be an eagle.
