Second quest only and abuses a serious glitch only recently discovered.

Sounds like the best way to do it. Never liked that game myself so getting it over in 4 minutes sounds good.

Could you do this without a sword? Can you remove the fires infront of Zelda without a sword. If so then you can finally beat the game swordless.

What was it about the game you did not like?

You would have to assume some kind of serious glitch being abused here since Link does not even walk fast enough to make it to Death Mountain in under 4 minutes much less beat the game.

I love how Speedrun techs develop so long after a game was released, especially in older games that let you mess with the codex ingame.
