No, that's the thing. Atticus doing nothing makes it so the mafia could get a free kill. Everyone here I believe is under the assumption that Atticus's no lynch vote would tie Stitch's vote, and no one would die. How would Atticus voting No Lynch secure a free anything?
That's not always how it works. Usually no lynch is a separate tally from the regular votes. I would have thought that if there was one no lynch vote and one vote on Stitch, then Stitch would have died anyway. It all depends on the mod, of course, but that's what I would have done. *shrug*
Atticus voting no lynch would have made her seem more Townie while simultaneously impeding the Town's progress. She looked like she was trying to get something done but also advocating that the Town essentially waste a day by not lynching anyone. If Stitch ends up Town, that's probably what happened.
Impossible. To reiterate what myself and others have said previously, Atticus literally had no idea she was going to be lynched. Why would the mafia sacrifice their godfather for a single townie? Atticus wouldn't have been lynched had she not voted no lynch. This theory is literally impossible.
You're right, she didn't know she was going to be lynched, and I'm not saying it was planned that far back. But Imogen's death tonight was DEFINITELY pointing toward Stitch being mafia. THAT'S where I'm getting this from. And even if she didn't know that she was going to be lynched, as the godfather, if she ever did die, she must have known people were undoubtedly going to look back over all of her posts and analyze them to see who she defended. Defending a Townie every once and a while to throw people off makes sense.
Again, I don't necessarily disagree with the Stitch lynch, as I see the evidence for it, but there is a very undeniable possibility that Stitch IS town, and it makes me nervous. I'm personally not going to join the bandwagon, but if Stitch is about to be lynched, I'm not going to stop it at this point.
After all, I have to say that the fact that Imogen died in the night DID give Stitch the perfect defense, which he must have known he was going to need, so...
I agree, it's just something to look at moving forward. But you are incorrect about one thing, she could not have lived if he had done nothing. She already had two votes on her. That is why it is suspicious.
Oh, my mistake, haha.
If Stitch is lynched, cop should investigate Fig. If not, investigate Stitch. If scum is lynched, and the investigated is scum, cop should reveal results. 3 scum dead would give the town a considerable advantage, even at the loss of a cop. If scum isn't lynched, revealing the results should be up to the cop. If the investigation is innocent, the cop says nothing. So, if we lynch scum tonight, and tomorrow get no report from cop, we know that the person he cop investigated is innocent.
I'm okay with this.
