Am I the oldest?

I can’t help but wonder whether I am the oldest BOTW player around. I’m 73 and female. Anyway, I’m glad I found this forum. I’m having a tough time defeating Thunderblight Ganon. I’ve already conquered the other 3, whew . I actually played all the way through a few years ago while waiting for Animal Crossing New Horizons. When I recently bought the OLED Switch, everything disappeared !!! Since I love this game so much, I figured « what the heck, I’ll just start over (now that I’m a bit bored with ACNH). Soooo, I’m nearly back to where I was before, 3 full rings, 20 hearts , 3 conquered beasts, etc. I could never have done this on my own, I do rely on walkthroughs and tutorials, I’ll admit. Looking forward to BOTW 2.

Well, I did it. Today I defeated Thunderblight Ganon, whew . I was wearing 3 star rubber armor, not sure if that helped, but I’m sure it didn’t hurt. He was so annoying with all that zigzagging. Now, I can finally seek the new DLC shrines, not to mention a few other side quests. I’m too afraid to fight Ganon, yet. I’m not brave enough to go after the Champions Ballad monsters yet, either.

You may well be our oldest forum dweller. It's good to see people of the older generation getting into gaming in general. It is such a great way to occupy the mind especially during retirement.

There's another woman around your age (or at least that's what her profile info said) that appears every now and then. I think her name was Ernestine? Also in her 70s, but I'm not sure if she was younger or older than you.

Really nice to see something like games uniting people of all places and ages!

There are a couple of older people on here too but not as active. I'm 50 so I think I'm the oldest active member. It would be fun to see people older than me being more active
