That's where I'm leaning with my thoughts on the game right now (controls aside, which I haven't minded that much), actually.
I've enjoyed it, generally speaking, but flipping hell if the Imprisoned isn't an abysmal boss and the second fight with it an indicator of sorts about where the game's...
One small gripe I have is with an oversight about item notifications that I didn't notice until I started doing a few gratitude crystal side quests. No matter how many times you get the crystals, you'll get the same text box info about it as if it were the first time you collected them. Not sure...
Just finished the Ancient Cistern. About 12-13 hours in now and I'm more used to the button controls than I was before. Like I mentioned before, this has been a very enjoyable playthrough so far.
I've never disliked SS, but my expectations weren't very high going in. The changes made aren't...
Button controls may be a tad awkward, but they're incredibly consistent. No misfires or dropped inputs. Free camera is nice, but you're not missing much by using button controls since the original game wasn't designed around it either. The motion controls are actually somewhat worse than the Wii...
So, it looks like Nintendo has made more changes in SSHD than they've bothered make clear so far. I don't exactly understand why, when something like a free camera is a really nice addition to the game (and can be seen near the end of the above clip. Gives the appearance that this is more...
Skippable cutscenes, optional Fi, streamlined item info, and fast-forward dialogue are all very welcome and overdue additions to SS. Good to see Nintendo actually make clear what they've improved. Hopefully some additional content might be revealed, but at this point I highly doubt it.

This is interesting to hear. It's not as concrete of an answer as I would have liked concerning the issue of excessive tutorialization in the original game, but it at...
With E3 around the corner, I'm curious to see if Ninty will pull out anything new about the port. New content, etc. It still wouldn't be worth $60 even if they did add new content (look at Sonic Colors Ultimate, haha; $40 for new content and a much more noticeable visual upgrade), but that would...
Fi was a poorly disguised manifestation of Nintendo’s excessive push for accessibility, much to the detriment of the gameplay. Any option to turn her off completely would be appreciated, especially since this isn’t a new game. People who have played it before likely don’t want to hear her go on...
My point is that, despite effort going into the port, it won’t detract from the work going into BotW2, regardless of who is working on it. Even if it’s given to a separate team or not.
I mean, it's a Zelda setting, with Zelda gameplay, Zelda characters, a traditional Zelda story, etc. To say that it isn't Zelda, even if you're speaking in a specific context, is inaccurate.
They gave us a control scheme free of motion controls. That alone is enough to get me to buy it. I’m quite happy with it, actually. 1080p will be nice, and revisiting the game without a gimmick dominating it so much will be really appreciated.
I hope for extra content, but I don’t expect it...
