yeah its incredibly easy if you know what to do. But the boss fight itself is just incredibly badly designed and repetitive. Its one of the least fun boss fights in any 3D zelda game. And they force you to do it 3 times. Wait until you get to finding the music mini game.

Don't worry wait until you get to the last 3/4 of the game and you might change your opinion. Despite hating most of the controls the entire game I actually enjoyed my time with SS..until everything past the 2nd and the game went from "oh SSHD is actually quite good to "its still the worst 3D...

Luckily didn't encounter that glitch. But **** that Dungeon anyway. Skyward has some great dungeons but also some really bad ones. Mining facility is one of them. Awful awful dungeon.

They can at least fix the game easily with a patch. Remember back in the Wii days they had to go through a ridiculous amount of nonsense to get patches through. Still remember that horrific Other M fiasco of sending in your memory cards.

You're absolutely right. They could have mapped controls to a B or another button+Left stick to attack. You can still use directional attacks. You don't lose anything except the ability to maybe move around and attack which isn't necessary anyhow. While also keeping the camera. My suggestion...

Thats an awful comparison. Spin attacks are much slower and take more effort to pull off. Plus they are used for AoE. Not Regular attacks. I was talking about The control aspect. And no is spin attacks were infinite we wouldn't be doing them all the time because its slower and more cumbersome...

Oh yeah SS has gone past TP imo. It's well above TP. Below WW HD though. But still leagues below botw oot and even majora for me. I think you're giving SS too much credit for what is effectively a very linear game that could have been designed around not having a stamina system And in botw...

If you haven't played it yet don't comment. And I wasn't talking about the motion controls. I was talking about the button controls. It's very easy to do spin attacks without wanting to especially in frantic situations. Even in motion. There's no nunchuck it sjust one joycon you have to...

You can't compare this games stamina to BOTW. Stamina in BOTW is integral to the game and incorporated into most things link does. You could remove stamina in SS and it would do nothing. It's just there for the sake of being there. And people spin attack due to imprecise controls. Not...

Beat the game today. It was fine. I would put it on par with TP probably but I may change my mind when or if I replay TP on the switch(if it comes out. All in all its a solid but majorly flawed Zelda game. I'm just Relieved I won't have to play another game with this control scheme ever again...

I mean this version has some major advantages over Wii Version - Full camera control even if its a bit finnicky with button controls - 60FPS. The first ever for a 3D Zelda game. Game runs smooth as butter. - Visually very clean and nice looking. The Wii version looked washed out, blurry and...

I'm past half way through the game and yeah the C stick for the GC controller is the best way to use that sword. Because its a lot stiffer and has directional sections on the controller a simple flick ensues near 100% sword swing of that direction. Far FAR superior to the joycons which can be...

They could have mapped a button for general random sword slashes. For general purposes like killing enemies who don't block or pots and objects. Nope. But The Gamecube pro controller is better simply because at least my finger is naturally on the L trigger. It does suck but I im getting use to...

Yeah I gave up. I said in my original post I'm leaning towards Motion due to the camera control and better sword play but the better sword gameplay isn't really relevant when this game doesn't really require it. I sort of understand why this game sold so poorly for a mainline Zelda game. Just...

Put another 4 hours into it today and I can say I've found my own personal best(or rather the most acceptable) control scheme. I'm using a 3rd party Gamecube controller that effectively acts as a Pro controller. The L trigger acts as the camera shift button instead of the higher up L on the...

The motion camera is awful. truly awful. Go check it out. Maybe you're right, presets might be the way to go....or I can just use my Gamecube Controller which has the L button as the bottom shoulder. Ill have to try that out. And TP did have camera control it wasn't the best but it did. MAybe...

Left Trigger to center the camera is an ancient outdated gaming mechanic. I'm never using that unless I need to quickly focus on stuff or shift to a certain position. I realize it was in the original and that was one of the faults. OoT is my all time fav game..but lets be real. Its an N64 game...

So i'm about 5 hours into this game and here are my thoughts. I'm gonna go on a rant about the controls. I'll talk about the actual game later. Firstly Motion controls and Button controls are both half assed. Let me explain. We'll begin with the button controls The button controls forces...
