To each their own. But not only did the physics feel worse than melees, but the game also felt much less balanced. What was most frustrating was that some of the characters that needed a buff were actually nerfed instead...
It doesn't sound like we're getting too many more characters in this game...so I will set...it had better be balanced this time. I know with a game like Smash Brothers, this is no easy task, but that's all the game seems to have going for it right now.
Well SSB, like many Nintendo games, was made for casuals. If all the chance was removed, the best player would always win...and for a hardcore gamer, this is great, but casuals want there to be a fighting chance.
Gonna sound like an idiot, but why does he need to remove characters? What's the marketing if not characters? If you don't add more and more, the game becomes a carbon copy of the last one and there's little reason to buy it. People are already noticing this with the newest installment. In fact...
Y'know I was just gonna say that...but I wonder if it'd be too much work?
Perhaps characters stories can even connect? It could be universal or per series (like Mario and Luigi's or Link and Ganondorf's)
Whereas Brawl had new physics and, what, 15 new characters or so...the new game seems to run on the same physics and Sakurai already said the new characters for this title would be minimal.
